Bitesize Nutrition will be holding Healthy Eating for Weight Loss classes in Kemnay Village Hall, starting Wednesday 11th January 2012 at 6.30pm.
The main aim of the class is to help you lose weight, but weight loss goes hand in hand with healthy eating so the class also provides you with sound nutritional advice on subjects such as: -
- The importance of calcium for bone health
- The difference between LDL & HDL cholesterol
- How to speed up your metabolism
- The health benefits of fibre, and it's uses in weight management
Each week you will be weighed, followed by a 15 minute presentation on a healthy eating topic, after this there will be a short informal discussion on the healthy eating topic covered and any other questions you may have. Each week we will also discuss healthy meal, snack and recipe ideas.
