A street race down Kemnay High Street! Carties will be pushed for 50m than must freewheel to the finish of the 150m course; no pedals or engines allowed. Prizes for various categories. It should be an exciting and unusual spectacle!
Why not enter your own cartie? - entry is only £1. Closing date Friday 1st April.

Kemnay Cartie Race
Great to have another cartie race in the area. Castle Forbes Gravity Time Trials and Gala is on Saturday 7th May 2011 so it is possible for the kid's to have their carts at both events. The castle Forbes kid's races are presently scheduled to take place on grass with only the adult Time Trials on the hill track. The Castle Forbes semi-finals and Finals take place on Sunday 8th May but some of the adult carts might make time to get over to Kemney to show our support.
There is also the Kirkton of Skene cartie challenge so that is three events which could be the makings of a junior cartie Championship.
