KEMNAY MEDICAL GROUP - FLU CAMPAIGN 2006
Saturday 9th December at KEMNAY SURGERY
The Flu vaccine this year will be delivered to us in staggered doses, with the first consignment arriving by the end of October and the last at the beginning of December. After much consideration we have decide to offer immunisation in two groups as follows: The first group was in October.
Group 2 - Saturday 9th December at Kemnay Surgery
Patients who are 65 YEARS OLD OR OVER and UNPAID CARERS. An unpaid carer is a person of any age who cares for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer falls ill. Carers working in nursing homes or for the social services will have to see their management regarding vaccination.
Influenza can be a serious illness if you are elderly or suffering from other conditions, and the vaccination greatly reduces the chance of catching it.
If you fall into any of the above categories we would like to invite you have the vaccination.
In order to help the process to run as smoothly as possible we would like you to attend on the relevant day and take note of the following:

If these times are unsuitable come anytime between 9.30- 1pm. If you can't manage on this day make an appointment with the practice nurse by phoning 01467 642289. Please be aware that you will be required to remain at the hall for at least 10 minutes following vaccination in case you develop a reaction.
